isn't it funny how i know
that im looking for someone
who's exactly like you
who talks, writes, thinks, like you
feels, expresses, and moves like you do
someone who has your mind,
your ideas, philosophies, one of a kind
someone who has a soul like you
and i remember you saying
a similar thing to me too
isnt it funny how i push them all too far
coz they could never get close to what you are
or how you told me about your last guy
that he could never get it, or wouldn't even try
that he couldnt fathom your artistic life
then you say you'll never be anyone's wife
you see colors that are yet to be named
you listen to music that cannot be claimed
you fit a thousand words in a few little phrases
you unfold such truth with half-full glasses
you could tell a story with the shapes in the sky
you're look is priceless when you try not to cry
you can tell what a person craves for
you just know when a touch tells more
and on things like that,
i totally get you
nothing in the world can deny
how you can be so true
yesterday, after saying goodbye
i never really come to realize
you're... perfect.
and thats exactly the reason why
we got along all for these years
yet falling for each other...
just never hit us.
not once
not ever.
Love has such a fucked up sense of humor.
