it's not really poetry as in words, in fact there's none. this particular piece is my way of expressing my poetry purely through music, actually it could even be prose. i was always fascinated how music could tell a whole story and give you such powerful feelings without even being dictated upon by words.. this particular melody haunted me and i can't get it off my head, so i gave way to my muse again and recorded it. it came along with a story too, but i won't share it just yet. i want you to hear it and maybe it would come to you as it did to me ^_^

i used a piano (grand), 2 layers of Cello, some synth effects for the ethereal sounds, pizzicato strings, deep brass/string sections, a timpani, and some standard drums.

this song would what Cyrus would call a "trademark iohann song" -- meaning its usually drowned in backup vocals and autotune effects :P hahaha sorry.

its a short song, the chorus is just long. originally i made a rap for the 2nd verse, but it sucked >_<

This song was written by my sister, Jai.  it's her story, but actually its also mine in many ways ^_^ this is how we express the way we know best... through music. through a song.

Worked on this for a whole day, my fingers are so sore from all the guitar layers, it hurts to type.

Once in a while, i do write cliche cheezy songs (which is a total contradiction to my style), but such songs are written for good reason... and sometimes the best way to express something is still through cliches -- especially on that kind of emotion.
i dedicate this song to Lady Chand as i promised, thanks for appreciating my music ^_^
