fun fun fun! total SKA version of Bonnie Tyler's hit from the 80's ^_^ the video concept was inspired by Gollbetty, we made this video in Jade's room ^_^

we finally got to do the music video of my ska rendition of Bonnie Tyler's 1980's hit. we got the concept from Gollbetty, and filmed in Jade's room ^_^ sorry for the messy lip-synch, but it was a lot of fun ^_^

this is my best digitally painted portrait so far. COREL Photopaint X4 and alot of patience.

Jai wanted her own version of the song she wrote, so i spent 2 nights in Xanland, Katipunan and made her version ^_^

I slowed it down abit, took out the distortions but tried to maintain the heaviness using piano and strings sections. about 3 layers of piano and 2 layers of strings, 3 layers of acoustic guitars, drums and bass. i also adjusted the pitch range to fit Jai's voice.

This song was written by my sister, Jai.  it's her story, but actually its also mine in many ways ^_^ this is how we express the way we know best... through music. through a song.

Worked on this for a whole day, my fingers are so sore from all the guitar layers, it hurts to type.

haha part of the ioHann Jai & Spree Recording marathon last April 12-13. this was done just after midnight i think. the original is just piano and strings, in our version i included some Pizzicato strings, an oldskool organ, and drums ^_^

...night before the BELOVED rerun, me, Jai, and Paul just finished recording our cover of "9 crimes", i arranged this version of Whigfield's "Close to You" till about 5am. then woke them up straight to recording till the sun came out.  Here's what came out of it ^_^
